A reminder to the world that human development has not reached peaceful co-existance and for this reason people around the globe must think about a new start to have world peace one day. People should ask themselves: Why not? The past is dead. Nothing, for good or ill, can change it; Yet there is a sense in which the past lives on: in works of human hands and mind, in beliefs, institution, values and desire for world peace, and in us all who are it's living extensions. The people, shall either rally around the divine rights of free men, a peaceful Constitution and the rule of law, or continue to rely on the promises and assurances of politicians and experience more dependency, debt and decay. Finding words to explain what is really going on in the world equals not to understand the way to a $ 16 trillion national debt, Congress invented mandatory appropriations to fund entitlements. These allowed spending to take place year after year without Congress having to vote on it. This is not in the spirit of the U.S. Constitution's Article 1 Section 9, which states that no money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law. Common sense is that over the long run, for a capitalist economy profits can be no greater than economic growth. Captialism fails when this principle is breached. Without any real growth there can be no real profits and without real profits there can be no capitalism. Do we need a ideological change or do we continue to raise the debt limit?
An unaccountable spending that has grown to over half the annual budget of $ 2 trillion in 2012 out of $ 3.5 trillion in total outlays, needs professional help. I know that a trillion dollar has 12 zeros but I had to go into the internet at www.pagetutor.com/trillion/index.html to find out what it looks like. Now that I know that a packet of $ 100 bills is less than 1/2" thick and contains $ 10 000. If you spend $ 1 million a day since Jesus was born, (Merry Christmas) you would have spend $ 1 trillion by now... but - $ 700 billion - same amount the banks got during bailout. "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government", Thomas Jefferson. Now, the trillion dollar question: "How to get out of under?" Moving to Australia is not the answer because global economic financial resource management control for us to have electricity, gasoline and cell phones to complain about, will only make it worth. Of course the way Iceland dealt with it two years ago, other countries can only dream about. They removed all politicians from office and in the new government they elected thirty percent who could balance the books.
Now that we have a two member Trillion Dollar Club of a Domestic Product (GDP) of at least U.S. $ 15 trillion, we are going into the final stage of world domination. Power and money will keep us pre-occupied with new dimentions and more debt. This will include the control over the Internet and personal lifestyles. While common sense people just getting an overview of all the wrongs of human history, (Don't miss to see the eye opener movie "Thrive" at www.thrivemovement.com ) it won't last until people of all nations recognize that only world peace will get us out of under. Being busy of making ends meet, raising a family or reflecting a productive lifestyle does not leave much time in an entertainment, consumer orientated world that constantly signals different impulses. While everything seems to move faster at the western hemisphere, we lost touch with our heritage values and instead fall victim to an old enemy picture, now the eastern hemisphere, what is deliberate send around the world. Personal opinions and even this writing does not mean very much in a time were talk is cheap because there is too much of it. The facts are that time does not stand still for anybody and the only true wisdom:"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace", should make us think. The most common question of today is:" What can I do about it"? If people believe in peace and justice, we must make a personal commitment. Thinking of more solutions to problems is part of the problem because we do not see the Forrest of trees any longer and getting lost in a labyrinth of lies and indifference and do not recognize that we are in a Forrest. This comparison is debatable outside but not when you are lost in a Forrest. I learned my lessons one day in the Adirondacks, when I got caught in a violent storm late in the afternoon and try to find my way out of the woods. My reflection of this event made me think about myself and the value of a peaceful life. This is an acknowledgement of inner peace and will bring a person to participate in outer peace. The toughest part is now to combine feeling, not only to talk about it but to deal with it. Thanks to technological advances we have for the first time a real chance to make a difference if we voice consensus for the common good and world peace. Everywhere in Nature everything, without exeption, struggles for survival. This is the unwritten law of the universe. If we, the highest order of life on earth, prepare ourselves, we can be reasonably certain that things will turn out all right if we shift from ego to essence. Showing a sign of peace to each other and help humanity's great shift to the age of conscious evolution will create solidarity and thrive for world peace.
Since the beginning of men conflicts existed. It would be unfair to say that human nature always had violent intentions, but incidents created disturbance through money and power for centuries, resulting in war and destruction that most of the time ended in not onholding peace treaties. Why? Common sense people have learned from the past to pray and hope. Through the internet we should come to our senses and learn how to live in peace with each other.This time it is more than a positive thought because everybody with this shift awareness can be part of restoring the confidence in human nature and be part of this breakthrough. For the majority of us, every Memorial Day is synonymous with things like swimming pools, barbecues, road trips and, most of all, a day off from the nine to five grind, and for many people even this is not true any longer, but never the less, it is the unofficial start of summer for everybody.
But we mustn't forget about the real reason why we celebrate - to pause and pay tribute to all the people who lost their life in the struggle for freedom and independence.
On my trip from Fort Kent, Maine to Key West, Florida on U.S.1, I got reminded that the Boston area is the craddle of the American Revolution and in St.Augustine is the first European settlement. Between this time is five hundred years of disputes about land and people. From feudalism to a republic, power and money changed hands and for generations people of all colors had hope for better times to come.
Reading the Newsweek Magazine on Memorial Day weekend that sixteen veterans of foreign wars take their life's every day without we knowing the real reason - it is time for a public declaration of principles and policy. Most people are familiar with the fact that 99 % of the population is in the hands of 1 %, who reign over them. They also know that people are different everywhere regardless how they are educated. No opinions will make a difference why veterans take their life's, because their action is incessant on our conscience. There is no remedy for a self-destructive dramatic war experience. Every "Memorial Day" we publicly remind ourselves of all war and civillian casualties and say ceremonial "Rest in Peace", instead: " We think of you, but let's have once and for all World Peace", and pray for a foreign policy that does not any longer deprive young people of a productive life. Being the strongest military force on earth for the past sixty years, the question who wants to take over the United States of America is lunatic as:" We live under democratic principles". This country is fortunate to have a people friendly Constitution, what is not taught as a life preparing curriculum to our children in school. Government only quotes it but does not live by it. The details are known to all institutions and and media, but the question:"What can I do about it" is on every common sense citizens mind. Only World Peace can make a difference and "We the People" have to speak in it's behalf. World Peace will start a self-cleaning political process and power and money will turn into check and balance, as the U.S.Constitution requires it for the last 223 years. This brings us to the next important holiday; 4th of July. What are we celebrating today? Independence from what? Is self-determination, individual rights with or without a lawyer, a job to live comfortable without debt, political or business independence obtainable by every citizen? Most of us have to pass on this answer and rather talk about the Red Sox's or the Miami Heat's. What I am trying to say here is real simple. Use "Real Common Sense". This is also the title of Brian Kahn's book with a good overview of today's problems and solutions. We suggest to our legislators to read this and restore our Constitution and get the H.R.Bill 808, Establisment of a Department of Peace through Congress. This is what the American community should talk about and if our legislators don't listen, we have to use our voting right in November with at least 80 % participation, to get some deeds. Remember talk is cheap because there is so much of it and accountabillity is the only way that can help Americans. If for some reason you think that your vote does not bring any deeds, you must join or open your mind to "Occupy Peace" - Official "Peace Leaks" and become a messenger of a precision sentence structure. Make a point in the shortest version possible for everybody to get an overview of our situation. Remember, we have already a Constitution. All we need to do is to get our government to live by it. A peace messenger is capable to bring wisdom and common sense questions to occupypeace@icloud.com to register his or her concern and receive an answer.
Even if peace comes, we face dependency - but...
While money and political power reign, the challenge for humanity is that money cannot save us. As long global problems by equalizing wealth to the U.S. standard is hypocritical, more wealth equates with increased consumption of natural resources. A global shift in consciousness towards the deeper meaning of life is needed to change the course of the future.
As I found in a wastebasket on 5th Avenue, New York City a National Geographic Magazine from June 2002, exactly 10 years ago, I was impressed about the response of Trace Wilson, Rose Hill, Kansas to an article from Jimmy Carter: "I enjoyed Challenges for Humanity, the article addressed problems not with pessimism but with realistic optimism. As a 15-year-old I would like to see a much cleaner, healthier and more united earth. When awareness is raised people begin to seek change, which I hope to do". A positive trend of future generations? The bottom line is for us adults on the sideline to comprehend internally what it means when our leadership sends young people to the frontline who say:"If I did not kill them, they would kill me, I just want to live". This should be enough reason to show a sign of peace. Former President of the U.S. Jimmy Carter's article "Challenges for Humanity" is a case and point that no individual, even presidents can make a difference to heal our planet and achieve on earth that nurtures humanity and nature in all their diversity. The partial answer to today's problem lies in a growing number of private efforts, some quite small.
It is time for consensus. This website is designed to unite individuals and peace organizations to do something about world peace.
Certainly, all the people who dare to participate must be aware that they betrayal the status quo and consequently commit themselve to change the world forever. Failure to do so is a betrayal of our own conscience. How much longer can we have a guilty conscience? Are common sense people capable to show a sign of peace? Can citizen everywhere voice consensus for world peace?

The following we have to do; Contact Congress and ask our House Representatives to support Bill H.R. 808, to establish a Department of Peace. This will set forth the mission to develop policies that promote national and international conflict prevention, nonviolent intervention, peaceful conflict resolutions, and structured conflict mediation. Pleace read here the Bill H.R.808 and start talking about peaceful ways and means. Peace will require greater understanding and respect for differences within and across national bounderies. The worldwide historical records is full of hateful and destructive behavior based on religious, racial, political, ideological, and other distinction. Reduce and prevent violence in the United States and internationally through peacebuilding and effective non-violent conflict resolutions, strenghten non-military means of peacemaking to establish a Department of Peace. Some people believe that the State Department should fill these shoes and pave the way to peace, then we should have world peace a long time ago. Anybody who thinks otherwise should read three books " The Grand Chessboard" by Zbigniew Brzezinski, "War is a Lie" by David Swanson and "The Nuclear Express" by Thomas Reed and Danny B. Stillman and you will be reminded of what human nature has been doing to itself besides all the natural catastrophic happenings. A personal message to the U.S.State Department: "We need deeds not words". A book from Brian Keith "Real Common Sense" with its quality and accuracy of information unlocks meaning and provides potential answers to difficulty problems. Americans "Today" have little choice but to pay more for goods and services or cut back on their living standard. And if this is not enough to deal with, we should remind us, when President Eisenhower a half-century ago identified the military-industrial complex as a threat to the nation; it now dominates politics and the economy. As the 21st century unfolds, an obesity-industrial complex can be identified. Like its military compatriots, its influence on America's body politics is no less consequential.

My travels last year through all fifty States of America and tour this year on US1 from Fort Kent, Maine to Key West, Florida to SHOW A SIGN OF PEACE was an eye opener. Now I understand why the health of the nation is in question and the healing process is beyond the pros and cons. We cannot any longer give into the fear of war and terror. Television has domesticated a sustained climate of fear. It becomes a nightly reality of American life, an ever-present and all pervasive threat. As a Constitutional Republic we should stop playing the world policeman and instead restore our Constitution and create a Department of Peace or convert the U.S. State Department into a peacekeeping role to set precedence for a new era in human history. It is too obious that nothing will change until governments show their citizen a sign of peace and become accountable. The United States Constitution freed people from feudalism and brought freedom, human rights, Peace and Justice, self-determination and prosperity to Americans. 223 years are passed and there is no world peace in sight. Here is a question citizen need an answer for: "Can a Department of Peace supply the leadership to the world - by example?" I believe so, because this idea is making the rounds through many countries. A World Peace Agreement after 2000 years of conflicts between nations could make hope, dreams and desire of people around the world a reality, if "We the People" develop solidarity. All we need to do is to make use of our rights as citizen and test our so called democratic system by calling or writing to each persons Congressman and ask them to support Bill H.R.808, Establishment of a Department of Peace, and follow through until this legislation becomes law. In the mean time all Peace Organizations should voice consensus for a target date on 6.26.2026 for world peace. In 15 years they should carry the message throughout the world and help to establish a Department of Peace in every Nation. In the mean time "We the People" offer their help to the United Nations by signing a Citizen World Peace Petiton to be presented on 2026 to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. When the Security Council accepts our peaceful attention, people in all Nations will have a chance to celebrate on 6.26.2026, the beginning of a new ara. It is worth a try, say the pros. It never happens say the cons. "What do you think?". Continued status quo or a common sense future for our children. I made up my mind and hope for a sign of peace from my fellow citizen.
The petition drive will go down in history as the greatest solidarity effort on earth if you are on board and we get rolling in the next decade, especially if we solicit our children to sign this petition. World Peace will become a reality if young people are more curious and motivated about their future and show a sign of peace. If you read or listen to the remarks by our President's address to the United Nations Assembly on the International Day of Peace, you could think he is sponsoring our peace efforts. If we can give his last sentence no credibillity, then what is our leadership all about. He said: "Peace is hard, but we know it is possible. So together let us resolved to see that it is defined by our hopes and not by our fears. Together, let us make peace, but a peace, most importantly, that will last".
What has to be said in defense of a peace activist? Many people think of them as a weak and un-patriotic person, not tuff enough to withstand any hardship and not capable to fight back. It is not the violence what made me an peace activist, it is the the rhetoric and hypocrisy in our western society. Violence is in decline for thousands of years, as Professor Steven Pinter wrote in his book: "Why violence has declined and empathy is on the rise". We believe our world is riddled with war and terror, but we may be living in the most peacable era in human existance. The peace I mean is to end the power of money behavior that divide and conquer people everywhere and promote hatred and violence. Everything is all about money and military ways and means. The battle between the have and have not is always in a center of every conflict and the working class is marked by the status quo. Is it human greed or nature to exercise power over others? This is not true if we educate ourselves and use our rights as citizen. If power and money corrupts we should demand to improve our judicial system. Justice needs our attention. Yes, violence vanquished and the status quo propaganda remains. I am not an Einstein, but I need help to explain my formular in a Precision Sentence Structure (Put it before them briefly so they will read it, clearly so they will appreciate it, picturesquely so they will remember it, and, above all, accurately so they will be guided by its light. If truth is the equation of things and intellect, I would like to awaken people around the globe to take a personal stand on world peace. When world peace is an ideal of freedom, peace, and happiness among people and within all nations, then who stops us from having a permanent end to global and regional wars with future conflicts resolved through non-violent means? With a Dept. of Peace, we will give our representatives an outlet for an self-cleaning process to free themselves from the high cost of war and poverty. As worldpeace.org.au I believe that lasting world peace will not be instituted politically, it will begin first in the hearts and minds of each of us. Until we have peace within our families and our communities and most importantly ourselves, no politician will ever have the power to bring peace one day.
When common sense people want health, peace and freedom for all, why don't we have world peace? If the United Nations is an International Organization with the reach and vision to solve global problems and "We the People" have in every country a Department of Peace, why not leak this information to the general public in a precision sentence structure?
